Conservation Grazing at Arlington Court

Seven ponies from the Exmoor Pony Centre are enjoying life in a beautiful secluded valley on the Arlington Court Estate where, according to one of the National Trust Rangers, they are doing a marvelous job of clearing the ground of bracken and rough vegetation which cattle or sheep won't touch.

Which just goes to show what an important part these ponies can play in conserving our natural environment.
