HRH The Duchess of Cornwall renews her patronage

HRH The Duchess of Cornwall visiting the Exmoor Pony Centre in 2009

The Moorland Mousie Trust is delighted to announce that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall has agreed to extend her Patronage. Her Royal Highness has been very supportive of the charity.

The Moorland Mousie Trust is based at the Exmoor Pony Centre in the heart of Exmoor National Park and works to promote and conserve the rare-breed Exmoor pony. The charity is named after the ‘Moorland Mousie’ books, written in the 1920’s, which tell the story of an Exmoor pony. The Duchess has revealed in the past that she has fond memories of reading these stories as a child.

Juliet Rogers, Chairman of the Trustees, said, ‘We are thrilled that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall has agreed to extend her Patronage. Her continued support will help The Moorland Mousie Trust and, most importantly, the Exmoor pony’.
